In the previous chapters of Black Clover, Yami, along with his sister Ichika and Nacht, emerged from his Devil form. With the aid of Kikongan from the Yami Clan, he defeated the resurrected Morgen.
Black Clover Chapter 377 is titled “Collision” and consists of 21 pages, including a color page.
The color spread showcases Yuno and Asta with their hands wide, wearing simple white robes. Asta wears a red one. Opening 6: Rakugaki Peiji might reference this as well since the two characters stretched their hands wearing green and red as usual.
There are, in fact, a lot of feathers shown beside Yuno. To tell the truth, Asta looks a bit shocked, so perhaps a sacrifice is ahead. An arm made out of Yuno’s greenish mana might replace his lost one, and Asta has already received an arm from Liebe.
With the brutal strongest Paladin Morgen defeated, the Paladins retreated from the shores. He was the last of the three Paladins.
In the background, Adramelech, featured as a devil, towers over the scene. The chapter opens with the strongest devil, Adramelech, marveling over the fact that the Paladins suffered defeat.
Danmation, Morris, Acier, and now Morgen have been eliminated, leaving only the Guardian Angels and Lucius clones, who have proven barely as strong as those in the preceding chapters.
The story fast-forwards to Asta and Yuno, who have left Neverland. Yuno asked Bell about the time limit. The focus shifts to Asta and Yuno on their way to fight the real Lucius.
Chammy arrives to provide food to the boys, replenishing their mana levels for the final battle ahead.
Sister Lily and other humans turned into Paladins became the “world’s happiest humans” and reshaped it glamorously to suit them. However, those people later felt immense regret.
They both enter Lucius’ throne room, where he waits for them. Asta notes that he may not be sure if Lucius’ world is good or evil but asks why the Paladins had regrets.
Lucius, smirking, explains that people’s pain stems from Asta, as he is an imperfection in the world—a creature without even a shred of magic. Asta believes Lucius is ashamed of being human, the worst kind of being: one without magic. Yuno retorts to Lend’s concerns, declaring he does not desire to be a god who restores peace to humans but a god who gets irritated when things don’t suit him.
This likely irked Cornelia, who presumably feels ashamed of being human despite asserting that humans are the master race.
It is likely so because he used a wheelchair for most of his early adulthood and only left for the Clover Kingdom through Julius.
As per official information, Black Clover Chapters 377 and 378 will release on January 10, 2025.
